My name is Matt Vieck and I’m a native of Vincennes, IN. My wife, Alyssa, is from Washington, IN. We moved back to this area to be closer to friends and family. I love the small-town feel and sense of community. I believe supporting locally owned businesses is the best way to keep the community together. I’m all about learning new things and building with my own hands whenever possible. I have been interested in concrete countertops for a long time and finally took the leap to learn the professional way to make this gorgeous product. I honestly never knew all the possibilities until I attended training from top artisans in the industry. The possibilities are endless and I’m excited to continue to grow, learn, and share this passion with anyone looking for something new.

Family

I absolutely love spending time with my family and want to continue to do more and more with them. The thought of being able to make my own schedule in order to never miss out on sporting events, birthdays, vacations, or simple movie nights, is my ultimate goal. I enjoy having my boys help me with my work and teaching them new skills. Who knows, maybe one day they will continue the passion I have for this work. I want to continue to grow the company so my family and I can give more and more back to the community that has supported us.

Trust

This one is really personal to me. I have had some bad experiences in the past with contractors and professionals. My biggest issue was the lack of communication. I completely understand that things happen and cause deadlines to change. My biggest issue was their lack of communication. I promise to be upfront with lead times and will notify clients as soon as a deadline might be missed. As you will see in my next set of values, excellence, I would rather miss a deadline than provide a poor-quality product. I also want to ensure clients fully understand the product they will be receiving. I want to answer any questions they might have to help with some of the “myths” out there about concrete countertops.

This is the reason I went and trained with some of the top artisans, I wanted to make sure I’m producing the best possible product. I have seen plenty of videos online, and trust me, those are probably good, but for a short period. When many people hear “concrete countertop”, they automatically are comparing this to a sidewalk, this is definitely not a sidewalk. You are making an investment and should expect many years of worry-free enjoyment.

I use high-quality ingredients and the latest techniques to ensure the best-finished product possible. No matter the scale of the project, each one is just as special to me as it is to you. I enjoy nothing more than delivering a product that I’m proud of.

Continued Growth

In order to bring something new to the surrounding area, I needed to make sure I educated myself before actually trying to educate others. Concrete countertops and concrete décor have been around for a long time but are recently gaining in popularity due to the unique look and feel, and endless custom possibilities. I wanted to bring this high-quality product to those looking to stand out and have that personal touch.

I welcome the challenges of doing something for the first time. I will continue to explore new techniques and master old ones.
